Letter to Park University Students (PDF)
Head Women's Golf coach Mike Mueller
The Park University women’s golf program is seeking additional student athletes for the 2010 spring season, which begins competition in late March and continues through the month of May.
Interested students are encouraged to contact head women’s golf coach Mike Mueller at (816) 584-6238, or by email at Michael.Mueller@park.edu.
"The perfect addition to our program would be someone who enjoys the game, has a desire to improve, and wants to be part of a fun and exciting team," Mueller said.
Park’s spring season begins March 23-24 in Winfield, Kan., at the South Central Kansas Invitational, and the Pirates will host one home event this season, April 12-13 at The Deuce at The National Golf Club of Kansas City in Parkville.
The regular season also includes stops in Fulton, Mo., and Lebanon, Ill., with postseason play getting underway at the conclusion of the regular season in Illinois. The NAIA Women’s Golf National Championship will be played in May at Meadowbrook Golf Course in Rapid City, S.D.
“As a member of the American Midwest Conference, it is important that our roster is at full strength in all sports,” said Director of Athletics Claude English. “Additional student-athletes from the current student population will help our women’s golf program stay at the level we’ve enjoyed since the program began not long ago.”
