2009 – Justine Riner solidified herself as one of the best freshman pitchers in the country in 2009 and was a vital part of the Pirates run to their first ever NAIA National Championship Tournament appearance…Riner went 14-7 in 2009 with an incredible 1.83 ERA, which was best in the MCAC…She had a team high 141.1 innings pitched and struck out 102 batters, while walking only 27…Riner was named the MCAC Freshman of the Year and named to the 2009 MCAC First Team All-Conference squad…Riner had 13 complete games in 17 starts and appeared in 30 of Park’s 40 games…Registered 3 shutouts and opponents hit just, .236 against her.

PERSONAL - Justine Eva Marie Riner is the daughter of Troy and Dela...Has one younger brother, Brad (16)...Also recruited by Neosho County Community College, Garden City Community College and Washburn University…Attended Hayden High School in Topeka, Kan. and played for softball coach Joe Tetuan...Pitched a perfect game in 2005 and was a First Team All-League selection twice and First Team All-City twice while playing for the Wildcats.
