2010 – An academic all-conference selection, played in all 19 game for the Pirates, starting in 18…Was one of five midfielders in the American Midwest Conference to earn first-team all-conference consideration at the position…Found the back of the net three times, all in conference games, including  Park’s lone score in a 2-1 loss at home to McKendree on Sept. 18…Also scored in road games at Missouri Baptist University and Harris-Stowe State University…Lone assist came in the AMC tournament championship game, setting up her sister, Dana, for the game’s first goal…Took 33 shots, putting 10 on frame for a .303 shot-on-goal percentage…Closed the year with 14-consecutive starts...2009 - Played in all 18 games with 15 starts, including seven-straight starts to end the season...Scored two goals and had an assist for five points...First goal came in the team’s season opening win over Avila...Also scored against Harris-Stowe in the 2009 AMC Tournament...Assist came at Harris-Stowe on Oct. 19...Took 31 shots and placed eight on goal...First career goal was Park’s game winner against Avila...PERSONAL - Nichole Hemmingsen was born in Kansas City, Mo., and is the daughter of Connie and Neil Hemmingsen, who reside in Prairie Village, Kan….Father is an electrical engineer, mother a fraud specialist… Has two sisters, Amanda and a twin, Dana, who is also on the Park women’s soccer roster…High school coaches at Shawnee Mission East were Jim Ricker and Jamie Kelly…Was named Second-Team All-Sunflower League as a senior in 2009…Named 2008 All-Sun honorable mention and All-Sunflower League second-team in her junior season…Played on the Kansas Olympic Development Program team from 2002 to 2004…Chose Park University over Wayne State, Tennessee Tech and UMKC for its campus, proximity to home and coaching staff…Also enjoys reading and volleyball when away from the soccer field...Switched to No. 5 in 2010 after wearing No. 17 in 2009.
