Indoor 2009 - An exceptional distance runner for Park throughout his career, Kranz ran the fastest 1500-meter time of any Pirate in ‘09 with a time of, 4:24.88, good for seventh place at the Highland Invitational on January 31...Kranz also competed in the 3000-meter, 5,000-meter and One Mile races during the Indoor season...The Independence, Mo, native ran the fastest one mile time of any Pirate on February 20 at the UCM Indoor Classic, with a time of 4:39.25, good for 14th place at the meet.
Outdoor 2009 - Ran the fastest 5000-meter time of any other teammate at the Gorilla Classic on April 11, with a time of 16:15.47, good for 12th place...Took seventh place in the 1500-meter run at the Mule Relays, with a time of 4:16.85.
Cross Country 2008 - A pivotal part in Park’s MCAC championship run, Kranz earned MCAC First Team All-Conference honors for his remarkable 2008 season and for running the fourth best time at the MCAC/NAIA National Qualifying meet with a time of 27:39....Placed 49th at the Bob Timmons Classic in Lawrence, Kan. on August, 30..Ran a solid time of 28:18 at the nationally recognized Southern Stampede meet back on September 20...Took home ninth-place with a time of 28:10 at the Haskell Invitational.
Cross Country 2007- Finished sixth in the MCAC meet…Helped lead the men’s team to a third place team finish at the Baker Invitational with a 24th place individual finish…Placed 59th at the Emporia State Invitational.
Indoor 2008- Finished in the top 20 in his first indoor track and field meet for Park, finishing 15th in the 3,000 meter run and 20th in the mile race…Took fifth in the 5,000 meter run at the Baker Invitational.
Personal- Born on November 19, 1988 to David and Teresa Kranz…has one older brother, Brandon…joined the Pirate Cross Country team for its running program and strong academics…majoring in Business Administration-Management.
