FALL 2008 – Played in all three fall events for the Pirates, posting her best-ever collegiate round in the opening round of the William Jewell Invite with an 84...Finished the tournament with an 86 to finish at an all-time low 170, finishing sixth...Also played at Northwest Missouri State, finishing 17th with a first-round 86, and ended the fall at Maryville-St. Louis...SPRING 2008 - Played in seven events, taking home three top 10 finishes...Was fifth in the MCAC championship, eighth in the NAIA Region IV tournament and had her only top 10 of the regular season at Ottawa, finishing seventh...Ended her spring season in the NAIA Championship at Lake San Marcos Country Club in San Diego, posting her first-ever sub-90 collegiate rounds by shooting 88 in the second round and 89 in the third round...FALL 2007 - Saw action in two fall tournaments, playing at Northwest Missouri state with a 15th-place finish...Earned her first-ever top 10 finish at William Jewell, shooting 93 to finish tied for 10th...PERSONAL - Allison Marie Vaughn was born Oct. 6 in Independence, Mo., and is the daughter of David and Brenda Vaughn...Also has one sibling, Amanda (22)...Father works for the United States Postal Service...Is majoring in mathematics and chemistry at Park University, choosing the school for its golf program and academic majors...Played high school golf for Fort Osage High School, where she was her class valedictorian, under coach Shayne McPherson, qualifying for three state tournaments in Missouri...High school is the alma mater of St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Albert Pujols...Away from the golf course, enjoys traveling and spending time with family...Is involved with several volunteer organizations, including Harvesters, Science Pioneerrs and the Sunshine Center.
