2008- A staple at the shortstop position for Park in ’08, Scates hit a solid .342 on the year, good for fourth best and had a team high 155 at bats…Led the team in runs batted in with 34 and was second on the team in home runs with three…Had 41 runs and hit ten doubles…Against Townsend Cup rival William Jewell back on April 2, Scates went 4-for-4 and hit a home run, along with driving in four runs…Against Oklahoma Baptist on March 1, Scates went 3-for-5 and drove in a season high 5 RBI…Hit her first home run of the season in the Conference opener against York College on April 6.
