2007— A 2007 NAIA All-American Second-Team pick…awarded First-Team honors by both Region IV and MCAC at the midfielder position…also named MCAC Offensive Player of the Year…recognized as MCAC Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 17…Katajwa started and played in all 19 games in the 2007 season…scored 13 goals on the season, recording two of those goals against then-ranked No. 1 William Jewell (Sept. 12) in Park’s 3-2 victory…added seven assists for a team high 33 points…took over 70 shots, placing 30 on net for a .429 shot-on-goal percentage.

2006—Honorable Mention All-American, First-Team All-Region IV, First-Team All-MCAC and MCAC Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 23…started in all 22 games as a sophomore…scored 12 goals with six assists...totaled 30 points on the year…earned a .485 shot-on-goal percentage with 66 shots, 32 of them on goal.

2005—Played in 19 games, starting in 16 as a freshman…score nine goals, two of those being game winners and had two assists, earning 20 points…placed 27 shots on frame, taking 62 total.

PERSONAL—James Katajwa was born Oct. 24…attended Kibuli High School and played for head coach Mike Mhtebi…team won the Coca-Cola National Tournament in 2001, also voted Player of the Year…played in the PASL Indoor Soccer Tournament with the Kansas City Kings in Fredericksburg, Virginia…also played for the U-19 National Team for Uganda…chose to attend Park because of its nice environment...likes to watch movies in spare time…majoring in international business.
