KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A former Park men's basketball player is back in a familiar setting in Kansas City's historic 18th and Vine District.

Bob Kendrick, a 1985 graduate of Park, has been named president of the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, where he previously served as marketing director until stepping down in 2009 to accept an executive position with the National Sports Center for the Disabled.
