Men's Volleyball Combined Stats (PDF)

PARKVILLE, Mo. - The No. 2 ranked Park University men's volleyball squad returns to the road this weekend, traveling to Missouri Valley Friday before a Saturday bout with NCAA Division II Quincy.

Park (7-0, 1-0 MAMVIC West) takes on MVC (2-7, 0-3) Friday at 7 p.m., marking the Pirates first action since last weekend after having Tuesday's MAMVIC West showdown with Graceland washed out by winter weather in northwest Missouri and southern Iowa.

Park is led by Henry Uribe and Ryan Stafford on the offensive end, as Uribe averages 4.84 kills per game and Stafford reports 4.22. J.P. da Silva adds to the offense with 12.96 assists per game, and he is also in the Pirates' top three in blocking, posting the team's second-best total at the net with 20.

Bosko Novovic has 21 blocks on the season and Dragomir Katanic has 19. Defensively, Nebojsa Janovic is averaging 3.00 digs per game.

Missouri Valley is led by Yaniv Warenstan offensively with 3.4 kills per game and Jedson Barbosa with 12.00 assists, while Patrick Pinto leads the defense with a 4.9 digs average.

Quincy is 9-6 on the year heading into Saturday's 2 p.m. match with the Pirates in Quincy, Ill., led by Peter Coley's 3.28 kills per game.

Ivan Siroken is the team's leading setter in a two-set attack, averaging 8.69 assists per game, while Collin Cooper leads the back line with 2.47 digs.

After Park's weekend away from home, the Pirates return to Breckon Sports Center Tuesday, hosting MAMVIC East Division leading Missouri Baptist (6-0, 2-0). First serve is set for 7 p.m. at Breckon Sports Center.
