ST. CHARLES, Mo. - The second-ranked Park University men's volleyball team knocked off St. Ambrose for the second time in six days Friday, pounding the No. 6 Bees 3-0 (30-17, 30-18, 30-26) in the Pirates' first match at the 2008 Lindenwood University Invitational.

Park (3-0) was led offensively by Henry Uribe, who had 12 kills, while J.P. da Silva contributed 29 assists from his setting position.

St. Ambrose fell to 2-2.

Park opened the match with a 30-17 win in game one, and the Pirates came back with a 30-18 victory to take a 2-0 lead in the contest.

Lindenwood made a push in game three, but the Pirates shut the door on the afternoon match by four, winning the final game 30-26.

Ryan Stafford added nine kills in Park's third-straight win, and da Silva led the Pirates at the service line with five aces.
