Senior Paul McLaughlin (Ballymoney, Northern Ireland) tallied the game-winner for Park at 86:03 when he scored on a breakaway thanks to an assist from freshman Adam Tayani (Kansas City, Mo.).
Sophomore goalkeeper Stefan Hirschmann (Ingoldstadt, Germany) remained perfect on the year, putting together his third shutout of the season. This afternoon against John Brown, Hirschmann had seven saves, including two on breakaways by JBU in the last ten minutes of the game.
Up next, Park travels to St. Charles, Mo., Monday to take on 2005 NAIA National Champion and top-ranked Lindsey Wilson College starting at 1 p.m.
