• Park University finished its season with an overall record of 23-10, while Biola improved to 29-5 and will now play Oklahoma Baptist in the Quarterfinal round Saturday night at 6:00 p.m.

• Biola is the second team from the Golden State Athletic Conference that the Pirates have played in the history of the men’s basketball program. The only other game against a GSAC team came in the 2007 Buffalo Funds-NAIA Division I Men’s Basketball National Championship, when the Pirates fell to Azusa Pacific University in the second round, 91-88.
• Head coach Jason Kline is now 91-65 (.585) overall at Park University...His overall coaching record, including his seven seasons at Indiana Tech is now 231-149.
• The Pirates starting lineup Wednesday night consisted of junior guard Goldeng Deng, junior guard Derrick Howard, senior guard Terrell Dyer, senior forward Herschel
Rodgers and junior forward Kyle Rausch. Park featured the same starting lineup in its first round game against Georgetown.
• Biola went into halftime with an 18 point lead of, 43-25...The Eagles shot 57.1 percent from the field in the first half, while Park shot 27.6 percent and Biola ended the half on a 23-5 run after Park tied it at 20.
• Biola’s Rocky Hampton scored a stellar 23 points in the first half for the Eagles, and he finished the game with 32 points and 10 rebounds in 29 minutes of action.
• Park’s Juston Hairston hit a career high four 3-point baskets in the loss to Biola. Hairston finished the night with 14 points and four rebounds. Hairston was 4-of-7 from three-point land.
• Park opened up the game on a 4-0 run, but Biola came storming back scoring seven straight to make it 7-4.
• Rodgers led all Pirates in scoring with 15 points... It marks the 16th time he has led the team in scoring this season.
• Park is now 5-4 all-time in the NAIA National Championship Tournament.
• The Pirates did outrebound the Eagles by one on Friday night, 35-34. Terrell Dyer had a team high seven boards and was one of four Pirates to score in double figures.
• Biola shot a stifling 56 percent from the field on the night. Park was 8-of-11 from the free-throw line but shot, 10-of-31 from behind the arc.
• Park outscored Biola, 39-37, in the second half.
