PERSONAL – Travis J. Fairley was born in Pineville, La., and is the son of Margaret Fairley and Foster Dupan…Played high school basketball at Peabody Magnet High in Alexandria, La., for coach Charles Smith…Won Louisiana state championships in both his freshman year and senior year with the Warhorses, and in his time at Peabody Magnet, earned MVP honors of a state all-star game as well as five slam-dunk championships…Played both high school and junior college basketball with Park teammate Derrick Howard…Junior college head coaches at Kansas City Kansas Community College were Jon Oler and Bill Sloan…Averaged 15 points per game for the Blue Devils, earning team MVP honors in his sophomore season…Chose Park for a great education and its basketball program…Away from the court, enjoys reading the Bible and spending time with family…Was also recruited by Alabama State, Western Illinois, Southwestern College and the University of Saint Mary.
