2008-09 – Played in 11 games and took six shots, knocking down three on the season…Had two points against Benedictine, Doane and Morris, with one point against Rockhurst…Had his only two assists of the season in back-to-back games, against Benedictine and Doane…Was 1-of-2 at the foul line, with both attempts coming at home against Rockhurst…PERSONAL - Philip Ryan Louis Garnett was born in Peru, Ind., and is the son of the late Lou Garnett...Has three siblings - Vanessa, Gina and Greg...Chose to transfer to Park from Ball State for its friendly environment, small class sizes and accounting program...Played in one game during the 2006-07 season for the Cardinals under head coach Ronny Thompson, playing against Eastern Michigan during the second half of the season...Graduated in 2006 from Maconaquah High School for head coach Rick Clark...Won a conference title as a senior and was a four-year all-conference player, four-year all-county teamer and a three-year all-area performer...Was also an Indiana Junior All-Star...During his high school career, scored 1,132 points to average 15 per game, along with seven assists and seven rebounds per contest...On the football field, was his high school’s all-time leading rusher with 2,763 career yards...Spends his spare time volunteering for Habitat for Humanity, spending time with family and friends, watching sports and watching movies.
