2010-11 – Logged 437 minutes (15.6 per game) in 28 appearances, averaging 5.8 points per game…Registered a career-high 20 points in the team’s five-point win over MidAmerica Nazarene in November, and finished the year with five double-figure scoring games…Had a season-high six rebounds at home against Evangel, helping the Pirates beat the Crusaders by four points, and finished the year averaging 2.8 rebounds per game…Hit 11 baskets from above the 3-point arc, including going 2-for-2 three times, and finished the year 64-of-134 from the floor (.478)…Also blocked 12 shots and had 24 steals and was 22-of-34 at the free-throw line, 64.7-percent.

2009-10 – Averaged 7.3 points and 3.1 rebounds in 29 games, earning 20 starts as a sophomore…Had 17 points in the team’s season opener and later went for 23 in a win over William Jewell, hitting 10-of-12 from the floor and adding three at the foul line…In all, posted 10 double-figure scoring games, including 14 points in the team’s season-ending loss to Biola University at Municipal Auditorium…Grabbed a career-high six rebounds four times…Finished the year 85-of-178 from the floor while hitting 27 free throws on the year…Was also a 34.1-percent 3-point shooter…Had his best percentage at the free throw line against Williams Baptist, going 5-for-5, while also hitting 8-of-12 free throws in November against Central Methodist…Knocked down four from above the 3-point arc against Biola and ended the year with 23 blocked shots.

PERSONAL – Juston Melvon Hairston was born in Fort Wayne, Ind.…Son of Melvin Coker and Sahaira Gibson...Has two younger brothers, Jason and Marquen, and a younger sister, Breanna… Four-year letterwinner at Fort Wayne South High School for coaches Ryan Bond (Sr.-So.) and Ray Sims (Fr.)...Named to the All-Summit Athletic Conference Team each of his final three seasons...Named Indiana Basketball Coaches Association and Associated Press All-State Honorable Mention and Fort Wayne Journal Gazette All-Northeast Indiana First Team...Led the Archers to a 20-3 record, their first sectional championship since 2004 and SAC co-championship as a senior...Team finished eighth in the state in 4A (largest class in Indiana) and 14th overall in the final IBCA Poll...McDonald’s All-America nominee...Two-time all-area honoree...Played in the Indiana-Ohio All-Star Game and the Rod Woodson All-Star Charity Game...Averaged 17 points and five rebounds per game as a junior as team went 14-7 and won a conference co-championship...Named Indiana Junior All-Star and Underclassmen All-State by the IBCA...Averaged 15 points and four rebounds per game as South went 13-9 as a sophomore... Received All-SAC Honorable Mention as a freshman…Began his collegiate basketball career at NCAA Division I Western Michigan University, where he played in one game for the in a 2008-09 Bronco win over Detroit…Also played five minutes in an exhibition contest against Kalamazoo College last November…Chose Park for its basketball program and away from the court, enjoys cartoons and cards…Is a management major.
