PARKVILLE, Mo. - Four goals in a span of 10:27 of the first half fired the Park University women's soccer developmental team to a 5-1 win over MCC-Blue River, Monday afternoon at Julian Field.
Following a scoreless opening half hour, the Pirates struck for the first of a four-goal flurry at 30:41. Kerinne Murry (JR/Harrisonville, Mo.) ripped the ball away from the Trailblazers near the top of the area and floated a shot just under the bar to open the scoring.

Lydia Parker (SO/Kansas City, Mo.) scored the first of two goals in just 57 seconds at 40:11, followed by Perrin setting up Taylor Buckholz (SO/Kansas City, Mo.) to convert from near the penalty spot.
Both teams would score once during the final five minutes of the game, with the Trailblazers getting their only goal at 85:24 by Samantha Berg. The Pirates would restore the four-goal advantage with 1:07 remaining as Parker picked the ball off of a Trailblazers defender and set up Karla Montes (SO/Durango, Mexico) for the final strike of the match.
