No. 18 Park University women's soccer team looks to continue their six game winning streak heading into the game on Saturday (Oct. 8). The Pirates (6-2-1, 6-0 AMC) beat Stephens College 8-0 on Saturday (Oct. 1) in Columbia, Missouri. The Pirates are ranked sixth in the NAIA Women's Soccer Division I with 3.89 goals per game. The Eutectics (1-8, 0-6 AMC) beat Lincoln Christian University 6-0 on Thursday (Oct. 6).
Emily Key was named NAIA National Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday (Oct. 4). She is ranked second in the NAIA Women's Soccer Division I with 17 goals this season. She is also ranked third in the NAIA Women's Soccer Division I in total points (38) and points per game (4.22). Key is also ranked fourth in the NAIA Women's Soccer Division I with 1.89 goals per game. The Pirates' Emma Chatterton has five assists with averaging 0.56 assists per game. Chatterton has also scored six goals and has a total of 17 points. The Pirates' Isabel Sullivan has been dishing the ball to players to tally four assists. Sullivan has also scored one goal for the Pirates.
The Eutectic's Kara Wesolowski and Morgan Ellebrecht have both scored two goals and had one assist on the season. The Eutectics have four different players with one goal this season. The Eutectics has also had five different players with one assist.
The Pirates' Amy Roskell has made 23 saves and allowed six goals. She averages 3.83 saves per game in the net this season.
The Eutectics' Emily Nickels has been in the net this season making 64 saves. She averages 7.11 saves per game for the Eutectics in the net.
About the Men's Game: Pirates (3-4-2, 2-3 AMC) vs. Eutectics (1-7, 0-6 AMC)
The Park University men's soccer team is looking to bounce back after a tough loss to Columbia College. The Pirates (3-4-2, 2-3 AMC) fell to the Cougars 1-0 at Julian Field on Wednesday (Sept. 28). The Eutectics (1-7, 0-6 AMC) lost to Hannibal-LaGrange from the AMC 8-0.
Mario Erpel leads the Pirates offense with five goals and two assists. He has a total of 12 points so far this season. The Pirates' Pedro De Souza has scored four goals and has a total of eight points. Nicolas Andre has been passing the ball to different players to tally three assists for the Pirates.
The Eutectic's Thomas Jamieson, Armin Duderija and Josh Anim Ano have all scored two goals. Naphtali Eke has scored one goal this season for the Eutectics. The Eutectics' Jamieson has also added one assist and has a total of five points. Tim Wilhelm has tallied one assist for the Eutectics.
Thalu Masindi has been in the net this season for the Pirates. Masindi has made 28 saves with an average of 3.11 saves per game.
